Can I Make It Big In Life? And Be Happy?

Updated: Aug 19, 2019

Good Questions.

This is what I believe about you.

I believe there are at least a thousand people like you, around the world, who would give anything and everything to be where you are…on this blog excited about life! They would give the shirt off their backs to be where you are.

However, they were not chosen to be where you are. You were chosen to be here.

I believe before the foundation of the world was laid, God chose you to live at this time and in this place. God could have chosen to give you life at the time of Gandhi, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Buddha, Jesus or Muhammad. God could have chosen to give you life at the time of Alexander the Great or Adolf Hitler – this is the time God chose to give you life.

God called you forward from God’s own self, molded you in that secret place in your mother’s womb - in the fullness of time - birthed you into God’s world and breathed into you the breath of life. You may have been a surprise to your parents…you were not a surprise to God. You may even have been an accident to your parents…you were not an accident to God. God chose you to live at this time and in this place…first and foremost – you are a child of God.

God did not call you into the world to take up space. God called you into the world to fulfill a mission -- your mission – your ministry. The reason you are here. What that mission is, I do not know. However, perhaps, I can give you a clue.

I could give you a name, but that name probably would not mean anything to you. I will give you his nickname; they called him, “Johnny Appleseed.” He was a real person. He went around planting apple seeds, most of his life. For a while, he started and worked in orchards. Then realized his calling was not to build and work in orchards, his calling was to plant seeds...just plant seeds.

Now a seed planter does just that…just plants seeds. A seed planter does not stick around to watch that seed germinate and sprout above the ground. Does not stick around to watch the seed grow into a beautiful tree and produce fruit. Does not pick the fruit from the tree or up from the ground. Doesn’t take the fruit to market and stand on the platform, receive the applause and accolades of those present for producing the most beautiful fruit…no a seed planter does just that – plant seeds.

I am a planter of God’s divine seeds.

I have been planting them all my life.

And I pray together, we plant and nourish one in you over these next few weeks.

What you do, with that tiny seed, is between you and God.

Yes!

You Can Make It Big In Life!

And

Have Fun At The Same Time!

What do You Think?
